One thing that bugged me when I first saw the Japanese videos: What exactly does this game have to do with Tetris?


I've noticed that the contestants in the "copycat" get more CLEARs because they are more likely to know the tactic of diving through a hole.

I am with tepples, just beacuse the game involves shapes does not mean its Tetris and or Tetris realted in any sense.

it's not like the japanese show said it was tetris. i can't believe you guys are upset over this. it just reminded people of tetris for some reason.

 

OTOH, an unrelated recent Japanese show did say the theme for the day was "Tetris" then talked about tetromino fitting puzzles with no gravity or randomness whatsoever (eg. what you would do with classical pentominoes - fitting them into a box) the whole time.

That I felt I wasted time watching.

 

I'm not upset, just curious as to why every YouTube video calls it "Human Tetris". It might as well have been called "Human Pose Mii".

 

by the way - i really like the "Pose Mii" minigame. fun to play!

also, this is a hot candidate for causing for serious wrist injuries
