Question: Are the controls in heboris more sensible?

Case in point, in texmaster and mame TGM2, I almost never make any mistakes placing the blocks, but in heboris, TONS of them. It seems I can hardly drop blocks in a straight line with heboris. Anyone else experience that?

Actually, I have that problem with mame TAP and not the other two. [IMG]

    heheh, odd!

8 way is off, tried it on/off, didn't really change anything. Then again, I just hit S3 for the first time in heboris after writing this yesterday so, the controls can't be that bad [IMG] I'm getting used to the differences I guess.

  6. what version/mode/settings of heboris are you playing with? may have more to do with that than with sensitivity. you realize you can change what buttons do what, right?

Latest c7 version, as for the modes, I don't think they affect how the arrows respond, right? The other buttons I've absolutely no problems with.

Actually it does. In Heboris UE, the "rotation system" setting controls several rules other than just rotation.

Have you tried Lockjaw too? If so, does the problem happen differently if you turn on or off diagonal motion in its Options screen?

  9. the solution could be as simple as: the mode you're playing in heboris could go at a faster pace than the one you play in mame, and that could make you misdrop more often.

    Very possible indeed.

My solution so far is quite simple: play heboris 24/7 until I misdrop less or drop dead from lack of food.

It's already started to work... the part about starving I mean [IMG]
