Bugs in beta 7. 1) in tomoyo_flash.c, when random mode is off, it should give you the same sequence for every level, not continue where you left off. Either that, or make that an option.
maybe, but it's not how flash point worked, and I couldn't test TI myself, for obvious reasons. it resets the piece sequence every level, but each new game gave a different sequence. Anyway it should at least be an option, i think. it seems to turn off the wallkicks like it should, so i thought it was trying to replicate flash point itself.
In Ti, the game uses a fixed 256 piece sequence that carries accross levels. You can press Hold during ARE to advance the sequence before gameplay starts, on any level. Also, after every level your Hold box is emptied. After you complete Sakura mode, it is possible to enter a code to make the game give you a random sequence of tetrominoes instead of the 256-loop.
