My best back when it was first making the rounds was 8. I wish I had pursued it a bit more, as it looks like something similar to the opener for my 8 was the key to someone's brilliant 22, haha. For those interested in facing this puzzle: The algorithm for piece selection is to select the one that will result in the lowest point in the well being maximized after placement. Also Benn I am always mildly frightened by your avatar, just so you know, ahaha.
