If you had a choice, would you play with or without ghost? I think having no ghost actually gives you faster placement of pieces. post your thoughts.

  2. I find it makes no difference, and think people who make a big deal about it are weird. I don't even notice if it's there or not when I play, yet some people claim it "messes them up" somehow.

  3. I like having it on in TGM.
That way at low gravity, I don't have to look at the preview.

  4. For guideline games, I need it on since the piece is hidden outside the well when it spawns.

Starting to like these topics. Maybe someone could make some sort of "Tetris quiz" out of them.

    This, actually.

I tend to play any sort of Tetris, so I'd have probably have gotten used to both ghost and non-ghost, right? It's pretty much a seamless transition, even in the middle of a game (TGM-like games seem to do this)!

SRS games need it, for two reasons:
    - Pieces spawn above the well
    - There is no firm drop

The latter is like having no "undo" button. A misdrop will be a misdrop, because the piece locks as soon as it's dropped. With ARS, you can still correct a 1-cell misdrop just by sliding to either side.

  9. I would play with the ghost. While it doesn't really bother me either way, I do make a few more mistakes when it's not there.

  10. "Ghost?"

I guess it was an okay movie. I was never a huge fan of Patrick Swayze. My sisters used to make me watch it.
