What the hell is that? Allow me to explain. This is a challenge drawn entirely from the recommendations of @COL to some other players. COL is the only person who has ever told me that playing TAP 20g is a good idea. Admit it, you forgot this mode existed. Specifically, COL has recommended that you play TAP 20g and try to get a gold SK (35 tetrises) as a way to improve your stacking. This challenge is the result of combining that idea with the mfm005 challenge. This is a very good way to improve your stacking and recovery tetrises. Being able to build a Tetris from almost any position is a very important skill to have in TAP master and everybody should attempt this challenge if you want to improve your stacking. At what level can you reach a gold SK in TAP Master 20g? The code is Down x 8, C, B, A, just like in TGM1. Note that this challenge is VERY difficult. However, it scales well, making it a good challenge for players of all skill levels. If you can't reach gold, submit a Silver SK or Bronze SK. Tips: Stack up at x99's Don't waste the first half of the game. It becomes much harder to consistently build Tetrises in the later sections of the game. Beware the DAS change at 500.
I've been messing around with this challenge for weeks and I couldn't manage to get a gold SK. Until today, two hours after I posted the challenge I was slow on the screenshot, it happened at 856. Played with MAME and a keyboard at work.
Gold SK @ 703 I actually practiced doing something like this in Death (Sudden) before: I think @steadshot has the record around here at GM with ~40 Tetrises and @Qlex has GM with ~35 Tetrises.
Maybe sub 600 is possible but actually tricky. I have to learn how to do videos again. If I don't have bronze before 200 and silver before 400 I ragequit. A single tiny problem may ruin your run, this is really frustrating though.
En fait, vous n'avez pas l'air de comprendre l'enjeu, heureusement qu'il y a un type un peu plus responsable pour rappeler la réalité géopolitique ici. Il n'y a pas de "titre", de "médaille", de "classement INSEE"...Mais pourtant tout le monde ici le sait, de façon implicite et officieuse : les américains sont des barbares brutaux et les francais ont la finesse et la tactique. Ca a toujours été le cas pendant plus de 15 ans, le coup a déja été sévere quand Kevin a pris la tete à TGM1, et la maintenant, MaryHadaLittle va définitivement nous enterrer et la "french touch" ne sera plus qu'un ancien mythe. Donc svp, Colin, K, Qlex, bougez vous le cul et aidez moi à le défoncer ce type. On ne peut pas laisser une humiliation pareille se produire.
