http://www.sendspace.com/file/0nebgf i finally finished up (maybe) this script for running a command line version of MAME. it basically makes managing and watching your .inp files easier, as well as automating the use of the command line. the setup file doesn't need to be in your MAME folder when you run it. New in version 1.2 -The script is now an executable, allowing the user to run it without having to install autohotkey. -Designed to be used with any version of MAME which is run from the command line and supports replay functionality. -Prompts the user to select the MAME folder where the files and folders necessary to run the script are created, including a config file. The user is prompted to set script options when the setup file is launched. The setup file can be launched again safely after the script is installed (it will only replace this readme, the script, and the config file). -A script can be created for each game in your "roms" folder. The script and .ini files for a rom will be found in "[romname]_ahk" within your MAME folder. have fun with it and let me know if you have any issues. EDIT: just uploaded an updated version that deletes your nvram folder before recording .inp http://www.sendspace.com/file/0nebgf EDIT: if you have the script running you need to exit it before reinstalling.
