Hi, everybody! I've registered a while ago now, and i think it's time to introduce myself a bit. I've discovered Tetris thanks to one of the player here, and yes, got addicted as well. Anyway, i hope i can learn a lot from here..
Yeah, i'm not quite good yet, but hope to improve. I don't have any joystick, i only play with my keyboard. I dont know if that makes any difference.
It does, but I only play with my keyboard as well. Hopefully I'll get a Virtua Stick High Grade for Christmas.
What kind of Tetris??God that's a good question!! I may sound stupid but i feel like i have a lot of pressure on me now.
The types most popular on here: what I think is ideal Firm drop (TGM series Master mode) - may be ideal to use a joystick 20G - joystick or keyboard Fast DAS hard drop - keyboard Slow DAS hard drop - keyboard or gamepad
OH OK, Thanks. I play TGM master mode (if i'm not mistaking), i 'm trying to practice with T.A death, to handle the speed better, but it's quite difficult considering my lack of knowledge in this game (combinations..etc).
In that case, if you want to start taking it seriously, a joystick is probably better. A keyboard is perfectly adequate, but a joystick is better as the game was designed to be played with a joystick, so the game mechanics suit a joystick better.
Please DIG, avoid speaking to my girlfriend in chinese. Thanks... That He wanted to say is your current game, TGM, is more adapted with a joystick, but you can improve until a very high level of skill with a keyboard! the proof : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iore8390kkQ I think you will never play on SRS, as long we will stay together! But ARS is accessible with both, joystick or keyboard.. Just very rubbish with a D-pad.. Try to see the little differences between the two concepts, this is the same game, but one in ARS and the other in SRS : SRS (World) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zC_uQ3sUHzo ARS (classic): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zt2umIhuTD4
