    Greetings everyone,

I've been a casual lurker on these boards for a while now and thought it was about time to join.

Being an avid Tetris player for, well, pretty much as long as I can remember, I hate to admit that I've never played the TGM, Heboris or Lockjaw variations - I've been meaning to try them for quite some time (honest!!!) but have never really got round to it, perhaps due to being put off by a few bad/uninspiring Tetris games over the years. Well, I finally gave in and thought I'd give Lockjaw a try for starters..... all I can say is that I am thoroughly enjoying it and the amount of customizing that can be done is great - loving 40 lines and 180 seconds atm (modes which were definitely lacking in Tetris DS). I will certainly be checking out TGM and Heboris in the near future to see what I've been missing out on.

Anyway, I should really be getting some rest now.....but just a few more goes on 40 lines.

P.S. Tepples, keep up the excellent work on Lockjaw! [IMG]

Even if you've been playing tetris for years, I don't find it too strange for you to not have played these implementations. I mean, one is a Japanese arcade series, one is a somewhat underground clone of that series, and one is a relatively unknown brew that recently came into the mix. How's that for exposure?

Hope you enjoy your stay and become a casual poster. [IMG]

Digi is right. It's not too surprising that you've not played TGM, Hebo or LJ.

LJ is pretty underground, aside from at this place. TGM and Hebo are both almost unheard of outside of Japan and this forum.

I'd definitely recommend starting the TGM series and Heboris. They're the best single-player Tetris games by a fair distance in my opinion (and those of most here).
