1. How do you TAS in the game? I've seen numerous videos of TASes done in Nullpomino, but I cannot figure out how to do it. The readme and other sources only seem to say stuff like "Nullpomino supports TASing functions", etc. but never state exactly how to do it. 2. In Retro Marathon, a mode called "Arrange" appears to extend the gravity table beyond 1G, in fact going all the way to 20G. Since Retro Marathon simulates the NES game in that it has no lock delay, how is this mode even possible? I know 1G can be done through TASing, and even 5G may be possible, but 20G sounds outright impossible.
1. In the Options menu, enable Frame Step. This allows you to use the frame advance key when the game is paused. For rudimentary re-recording functionality, begin watching a previously recorded replay, advance to the frame you want to branch from, then press the Hold key to switch from replay viewing to recording new input. A new replay will be saved at the end of the run just as it would when playing a regular game. 2. Arrange was an experiment that is intended to be played with faster autorepeat. 20G is intended to be a hard killscreen, much like 1G was intended to be the end of the game with the original speed timings. Seeing as 1G stopped human players in their tracks but could be TASed to the point of looping back to beginning of the speedcurve, we figured we may as well throw 20G in there to add some definite finality to the mode. Seeing how many lucky lines can be earned from a center stack going into 20G might be a good subject for a TAS.
