It took me a while to notice the TAP cabinet with the Normal mode ranking showing. At first I wasn't sure why the pictures were posted over here. Nice scores from the Normal mode expert JUN. I think the high score on the ranking is 541482 which is listed on TETRiS-HOLiC. According to the site JUN is world record holder with 614459 points!

I got this last week but was too lazy to find the topic over here. Figured I'd post this before I reset the scores on my pcb.
Easily my best Normal run (read: like 80k better than my next best... I don't play Normal much) -- first time I had an extremely clean stack all throughout and basically didn't miss any tetrises. I guess from here it's all about timing and combos, huh?
Heh, you beat me by 249 points.. just got 322668. Also, someone should update the leaderboards. I don't remember what my score was before I reset my pcb and I never typed it out and the image is gone and the topic was never updated. Maybe it was better than this.. We will never know.
I played for time instead of score, so no crazy combos, just as many tetrises as possible. Can't break 3 minutes though.
Was so happy (and jumping everywhere in the living room lol ) that I beat my previous record (from 2013 ) that I didn't even have the time to enter my name properly lol

Hi! Quick update here: I'm going to be updating the leaderboards tonight/tomorrow and I'm in need of everyone's help here. Can Everyone please verify if your scores are running on PCB, MAME 60Hz or MAME 61.681173Hz? For now every score unverified will be marked with a "???". The reason why I'm doing this is because some players deem 60Hz MAME scores to be 'illegitimate' as they are running slower than the original game (giving you a tiny bit more time to react.) Nowadays the up to date versions of shmupmametgm run the game at the correct speed so I'd ask you to download the version linked in the original post. Thanks for the help!
Hey @Archina I’ve been running on ~62Hz MAME since it was fixed in MAME (and that was a long time ago now), I’m always running one of the latest builds. I won’t reply to the other threads to say the same thing
