I've built up a really nice collection of 3:25s. Maybe if I played more than one half-hour session every few days I would have M by now
Jumps between 600 and 900 are very usual. There is first a struggle between 500 and 600 to learn to control the stress of the M, and to learn how to get used to the DEATH 500 speed. Then it can be a continuous breakthrough from 600 to 900 because this is one homogeneous and stable sequence. From 900 there is a new phenomen to domesticate, the nervousity of being close to GM. This can end to many 9XX scores before making it to the end.
God damn.. wow well done Qlex. Cheers! You too MaryHadALittle.. Might have to try and revisit this properly.
Holy fuckballz, glad to see you're not dead! You should definitely try and get back in the stacks; if you could do what you did almost 8 years ago I'm sure you could shake things up again!
Thank you so much! I hope you are well my friend. Your vote of confidence inspires me. My ability to cope with ridiculous amounts of sensory input must have declined slightly with age and decreased exposure compared to back then hah, but lets see where the limits truly are! My schedule is not as free as it once was either, but that is no excuse. I will set aside a decent amount of time for a few weeks and see if I can reach anywhere close to this level.
I wish you the best ! It is a difficult project to recover our finnest skill after more than 1 year of break. Somehow I feel like I have never recovered from my 1 year break in 2013.
xposting from carnival thread: when the leaderboard gets updated "mushroom" needs to be replaced with "mycophobia", please
I've got 358 from the Carnival of Death (and an unreported 415), if you don't mind updating mine from 165.
I got a new PB. Its to late for the carnival but I'm happy I did eventually get the new PB I was hoping for.
