WHAAAAAAAAAT?! I never thought I'd see the day when someone beat 777. Are we for sure this is real? EDIT: And perhaps more importantly, is there a video? EDIT2: Nah, we are for sure it is fake. I feel much safer knowing that.
GM @ 11:30:31 - I was so close to sub 11:30, I'm a little frustrated that I missed it by less than half a second.
GM @ 12:11:50, while streaming today. No thanks to my cat for bugging me late in the game ._. Level stops are killer, probably would have been a sub-12 without all of the level stops. Guess I know what I need to work on!
First game of the day, and this happened: Went into the last section with S9 and a really low and clean stack, then panicked, but I was still able to finish it. Phew... ♪ "This was a thriumph." ♪ ...
been a while since my last post. I was GM but in keyboard. i was trying to be better at stick, some GM but less than my time, now i can post some scores : in first, my PB : Crashdown - GM - 12:33:08 in my arcade (akedo in lille, not a original PCB unfortunately) from yesterday : Crashdown - GM - 12:41:73
I had set a goal for myself to get sub-11 minutes by SGDQ. I wasn't entirely sure it was even a reasonable goal. It turns out it was: GM @ 10:55:56
This thread is now updated and ported over to the new system. Massive thanks to @Amnesia for doing like 90% of the legwork to update it and meaning I only needed to update a dozen scores or so while porting things over.
You are welcome. That was my pleasure. That was extremely boring to update 6 months of laziness, but also a pleasure to see this task more and more big. So this means that I don't have anything more to do here ? How can this table be updated now ? You are the only one who can ? Let me update once for all, a last time the TAP table and then you can upgrade it !
There's a spreadsheet that generates the leaderboard text with the correct formatting and allows for automated sorting. Anyone I give permission to can access the spreadsheet so long as I have an email address (which I think needs to be connected to a Google account?) to add to the list of editors. It then needs people with either TC mod permissions or ownership of the threads to copy and paste the text from the spreadsheet into the first post whenever it's updated (or every now and again at least). In reality the process is still fairly manual and relies on people doing their bit to update, but it does remove a fair bit of the hassle for updating threads, and also means that a much wider pool of people can update the core leaderboards without having to give them forum permissions to do so. My hope is that the bigger the pool of people who can update things in terms of the core leaderboards, the more likely they are to be kept at least reasonably up to date, and we don't get the situation now with many threads where they're in such a bad state that it takes someone an entire afternoon to pick back through the thread and un-fuck everything. On the new system it means that lazy-ass mods like me only have to check every now and again and find that everything is pleasantly up to date on the spreadsheet and ready to paste over (as it was with the TA Death thread this weekend). If you're happy to update TAP Master then I can always port it into the base spreadsheet (which I got working yesterday to include the orange/green line code) and give you access so at least that job is a lot easier.
I was so close to beat the game, I know that's nothing compared to GM players but I'm still shaking like hell, I was so tense... especially cause my PB was like 7xx so far
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MY THROAT HURTS FROM TOO MUCH SCREAMING AND MY MOM ASKED ME IF EVERYTHING WAS ALRIGHT CAUSE I WAS SCREAMING LIKE A FUCKING IDIOT
