Tetris DX world record*

  1. * sort of.

I wrote a script to play the game this way. It took many days (nearly two weeks?).

    Things are silly.

    Linepiece778 and Qlex like this.
  2. Hahahaha, this is the best ! 1-piece counterstop, ridiculous x)

It goes to show some of those games weren’t even thought out properly, much less tested. Sure Gameboy Tetris looks and plays pretty dated, but fuck me i’ll take this a hundred times over the games EA gave us on smartphones, much less THIS x)

  3. "Come on, be a good boy... Think of all the accomplishments this world has to offer!"
    "I DONT WANNA DIE"

  4. Technically two pieces. I very specifically added a case to the script to handle getting an O (since the trick doesn't work with it) and lo and behold the first dang piece is an O.

I also figured out a much faster way to do the scoring about halfway in again, so in the future I might need to redo it. :V

  5. We should make a list of all the games with this exploit. For sure Tetris Splash required abuse of this to score well. I left my game on overnight with autofire activated and then finished the game the next day, taking first place. (I've since been "beaten" no doubt using the same exploit.)

  6. SRS has something similar; at low gravity the piece never touches the ground:

Question: If you did this on the first piece in TGM3 World, what would happen? Obviously it wouldn't help your grade or score any, but could you prolong the arcade game indefinitely?

Question #2: How do you embed fumens in posts?

All versions of TGM have a 15 minute kill timer to prevent people from hogging a single credit. The game turns into really fast 20G. You can actually abuse it in Ti World to get unrealistic section times for sections 200 and up.

  8. Oh wow, had no idea about that. Any videos (in any TGM version)?

Wonder if it was kept in TGM Ace, or even Cardcaptor Sakura.
