Tetris 2 is just Dr. Mario with tetrominoes

I played a ROM of it once and realized this, but then several years later I came across it in a used game shop and had forgotten that fact, so I bought it. Oh well.

 

I have this for SNES, actually. Haven't played it in ages, though.

 

Hahaha, yeah Tetris 2 is to tetris as the "History Channel" is to history. Just trolling the world!

 

It's a nice change in strategy, even if it's veering off in a completely different direction.

Not true, it also has pieces that break apart, and flashing circles which clear all of the same color making the game not entirely dependent on clearing everything. In my opinion it's actually a much more fun game then Dr. Mario.

 

In Dr. Mario they broke apart, too?
