Left my TGM3 board in CA so some people could have a chance to play "The Great Game". TGM3 is installed in an Egret 2, the holy grail of candy cabs, at Game Center. Game plays great; KAN completed Shirase in 4:30 on it so I think it's fine. The location is just around the corner from the San Mateo Caltrain station. Hours seem to be 3pm - midnight (or later if they feel like it) every day. Price is something pretty reasonable too; don't remember right now as it was on free play for the event. The game should be there for at least a couple months, maybe more if it actually sees some play!
I got M-Roll something like five times today and flunked the invisible every time -- I don't know what's wrong with me. <_> Oh well, time to get back in practice.
Nah, I played too little Tetris in general. After a week of warm-up, I currently have no problem throwing down fast TGM1 GM's (10:02 yesterday), have been pretty successful with TGM2 (GM @ 8:13.13 last Monday), but for some reason TGM3 invisible was killing me today. It's a bummer, since I did pull off a MasterV last Sunday. Anyway, I'm going to work on putting down a variety of scores across the board so Kevin can have a little mark of NorCal when he gets his kit back. <3
