what was the twin galaxies "world record" again ? damn, I never thought the nes control pad was precise enough to tap that fast
The "official" record according to Twin Galaxies is a 999999 maxout in 229 lines starting at level 18, played by Harry Hong on April 19th 2009. Anyways, congrats to Thor on an amazing achievement!
Yeah, the known max-outs so far are Harry Hong, Jonas Neubauer, and Thor Aackerlund. I think both Jonas and Thor had maxed it out without recordings before really getting involved with TG. If you go back two pages, Jujube posted one of Jonas's level 19 max-outs there. Also, shouts to Trey Harrison, who came within 50k of the max-out last week. damn, I'm going to give this a go. No way I can reach 900k lol but last time I played tetris nes, it was in 1991 so I suppose my skills should have improved since then with all the tgm work
