At least it was the first time that I didn't press F11 before the score was saved. I think I broke it about 3 times now. But you did it before me, even though I play much longer than you, what kind of annoys me .
Hello 20g beasts, I have some questions about Sudden Ti. What are the requirements to break 500? My time is ~3min most of the times (avg 35'') and I can't do more than 5 tetrises. Is it the time, the tetrises or both of them the problem? As for the Special Ti there are so many Ms I am confused. Can somebody link me to see what each grade means? Also, what is the official name of those 2 games? Are they both TGM2? Thank you
For Sudden Ti you have to get to 500 in 2:28 or less, amount of tetrises doesn't matter. As for Special Ti you could check the wiki entry, in this case it is important that you tetris a lot, especially late in the game. Both modes are from TGM3 (Ti), they're Master and Shirase, respectively.
For TGM3 : - 9 --> S4 = noob - S5 --> m4 = good player - m5 --> MK = beast - MV --> GM = motherfucker beast equivalence on Texmaster : TGM1 : -mode standart --> normal TGM2 (TAP) : -NORMAL --> novice -MASTER --> special -TGM+ --> advanced -T.A DEATH --> sudden TGM3 (TI) : -MASTER --> special ti -SHIRASE --> sudden ti
If you're using World rule, the 500 time cut-off should be 3:03. Unfortunately, I think Texmaster just uses the Classic rule cut-off of 2:28 for both Classic and World. Also, another word of warning: Texmaster's implementation of SRS (aka World) isn't accurate. Regarding grading, if you just want the information, then read the wiki page that clincher linked to. My personal advice though, would be to forget about grading entirely, and just focus on survival, followed by time-attack once you can reach 999 reliably. The grading in TGM3 is a bit wonky, and doesn't really give a good measure of a player's progress through the game.
Hmmm, thanks all for the info, I didn't know texmaster has all TGMs. Also I didn't know that I went from TGM1 to TGM3 passing over TGM2!!! @clincher 2:28??? Jesus Christ @amnesia oof I'm not a noob @Edo I am too old to play with SRS... and since there is no M3 in the leaderboard add mine unfortunately I didn't finish it (I suppose grade would be higher if 999)
Toastyohs - 500 @ 2:33.35 I probably would've broken the torikan if it didn't take me 5 seconds for my last line.
Code: Qlex ------------ S9 797 6:21:23 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhOvI86pk3A Whew, that felt good
Amnesia, would you say that the lock delay is different in Texmaster than in TGM3? I'm saying this because I think it's different from the one in Heboris, but I feel clueless as to why
Heboris UE was produced before there were accurately recorded frame timings for TGM3. Texmaster is closer to the real thing.
Oh alright. I was thinking "then why are texmaster and Ti different in lock delays?", but I guess it's got to do with the frame displaying system that's different for each one (refreshing that isn't exactly 60 fps vs 60 fps), right?
The lock delays should be the same, I think. There are a few DAS charging rules from TGM2+ that aren't respected -- frames during ARE on which DAS is not allowed to increment -- but I think Ti should feel pretty close. The main difference between Sudden Ti and TGM3 Shirase is that Sudden Ti doesn't implement the rising garbage rules correctly and it's easier to hold off adds.
