Noooooooooo! Unless someone new posts a score under mine, I am destined to collect the spoon now. After I posted that last score I ended up in hospital so I won't post any more scores. Missing the rest of the Carnival of Death through bad health - there's almost some irony there.
It's the last day! So far we're still behind last year, so everyone please make sure to post your scores. And get well soon MisterBenn, I'm sorry to hear that.
Yeah, get well man. 299! I just tried playing on CRT monitor, and my second game was a record. It feels much better than my LCD.
Great job everyone. Deeem2031 that's a sweet time. A lot of frustration on this end. Last year's Death Toll was 19365. With NoTGhost's best mentioned by Amnesia yesterday we already surpass last years effort. Make sure to post Amnesia. 20000 should be broken and I'll play a few hours later to try and do my part. It would be helpful if others give it one last shot too. K get GM if you already haven't! Get well MisterBenn! Last year the last one only managed to get to level 128. How much time do you think is necessary per week for making serious progress at your level? I'd love to play 250 hours in 2 months like other players, but I neither have the time nor determination to do this. I actually can hardly believe this. Respect if true!!
Surely that must be a typo? 250 hours in 2 months means more than 30 hours a week. That's close to full-time employment hours. Playing that much just blocks improvement.
lolkevin Haha, I totally haven't been playing as much as I'd like to, but I've been relatively busy lately (which is a bit annoying). I wouldn't even come close to playing 250 hours in 2 months, though. That's just ridiculous. But that M is looking kind of far away, and my Death skills have atrophied since the last Close Call. Not good...
My meager contribution (from last night): 189 @ 2:07:16 You can't say I'm an nonparticipating douche! (Though if I had paid attention, I would have participated more...) Edit: 203 @ 1:58:91
