Do you agree?

  1. Yes, I was referring to step reset as "normal", since barring GB style Tetris we've been playing that for a long while. However, other people have made other good arguments since, and I agree that the word "normal" seems a little "POV"y. Perhaps we could refer to "GB style", "Lock delay style", and "Modern SRS style"?

    "GB style" (what LJ calls "classic lockdown") was also seen on the original PC games (Gerasimov's version and the versions under Andromeda/Mirrorsoft/Spectrum Holobyte), all three NES versions (BPS Tetris for Famicom, Tengen Tet?is for NES, and Nintendo Tetris for NES), and the Super NES version.
     
  3. True enough, but if we're trying to make this something that the average person can understand, they probably first encountered that style of play on the GB version.
