Hi guy's, I like Tetris. [IMG]

I tried different one's and found that the best is Tetris Classic, even if it very old.

Did you found any newer PC Tetris that has at least the same features? I couldn't....
TetrisZone is a new hit but it's very limited.

What's your opinion? Which is the best?

PS: Don't make names if don't know Tetris Classic

    Heboris, Texmaster, Lockjaw, DTET, Cubestorm...

this are all betas, has bad gui, missing options, and no one of still have multiplayer capabilities like Tetris Classic.

Please look first at Tetris Classic before posting [IMG]

  5. okay so I downloaded Tetris Classic and played a little.

The GUI is nice but as soon as I started playing I wanted it to end.

Now, my preferred game: Heboris, Texmaster, Lockjaw, DTET, Cubestorm...

Also, Tetris Elements is a horrible game.

Texmaster2009 is a final version, not a beta. Nobody can claim Heboris to have "missing options", as it's the Tetris game with easily the most game modes, and configurability that is only superceded by LockJaw. All Heboris versions include versus play, Heboris Mini includes versus over the internet, and Texmaster has Doubles mode. I don't see what you're on about to be honest. If you want to talk shit about these games, I suggest you take a thorough look at them instead of just a quick glance, drawing a completely flawed conclusion. Tetris classic is a nice game, but it completely breaks once you get past level 10. What, you mean you've never gotten past level 10? Oh sorry about that, you'll just have to get better then before you judge other games.

  7. Texmaster, Heboris, Cultris, Quadra.

  8. TexMaster, Heboris Netplay

  9. Heboris Mini Netplay for multiplayer, Texmaster for single player.

  10. Voting Tetris Classic because the graphics and music have aged well. And the gameplay is great for 1992.

I kinda like facebook tetris, blockles (iminlikewithyou.com) and other social tetrises, i wouldnt say they have the best gameplay, but i just like the interaction

  17. I voted Cultris. I don't play it much anymore, but in it's glory days it was awesome. I miss all the fun of multiplayer game and still dream of Cultris 2.

I'm with ya on this one Tnet2 had some great multiplayer action goin. Since i got pretty good with strategy It probably held me back a bit on improving my speed. Cultris IMO would take 2nd. Thanks for the list of games though I've been out of the loop for quite a while and its so nice to try different versions of quality tetris.

  19. well... cubestorm is not even beta, its still alpha. but its getting closer to beta every day.
thanks anyway for mentioning it at all [IMG]

What would "Cultris 2" be? Dr. Mario with Cultris blocks? I'd bet Cubestorm would be the first to have a Dr. Mario-style mode, if you really want to do a Tetris 2 (kaboom).
