Im creating this thread to see if there is enough player to join a tourney of TOJ ! The details should be set up still lets see what you guys think about this idea
Maybe this isn't my place to talk, but here's another question: Who's up for a Blockbox tourney using TOJ-like settings? There are 2 reasons I am asking this: 1. TOJ is really sucky unless you put in the time to get TP to get upgrades. Nobody wants to do that, so last time we made 2 generic accounts for anyone to log into and play to get TP, so when both accounts were maxed, anyone who didn't have a decent account already could use one of those two accounts. On Blockbox, you could just make an account and avoid this completely, since you can use whatever settings you want at game-time. 2. TOJ is a Windows game. I don't know if it runs better than Blockbox or not but some people here just don't use Windows. Last time I was opposed to this simply because it would be inconvenient to find the exact TOJ settings and put them in each time, and because it wasn't TOJ, but seeing how the votes are going I thought I would raise this question again.
I support that cause I'm only at level 2 of everything. So yeah Blockbox TOJ would be nice BTW wtf is up with this bot rsgoldsell
bluesphere here from TOJ, just registred here to show my interest for the tournament -if it's going to take place. Sure ain't a lot of TC players on TOJ. =/ Regarding TP: As a normal member of TOJ, you get way less TP now then half a year ago, but if you become a premium member, the gained TP gets much better per Game. You can get 3 Days premium membership by 'inviting a friend' to TOJ, with successful registration, both inviting and invited Users become premium members. (Not sure if this is known here) Sounds kinda off-topic, but I thought this may move some more people to participate.
I'm interested in a TOJ tournament. Blockbox with TOJ settings would be chaos because of the lack of garbage cancelling. Rounds would last probably... 10-15 seconds at most with all the tspins/tetrises and no way to counter them.
Okay, I'll try my best to explain this. Let's assume you want to invite someone. First Step, login to your account on TOJ. (btw, there are several websites to access TOJ, but my explanation is based on http://www.tetrisonline.jp) Step 2: When logged in, find and click the Invitation-button on top of the TOJ-page. Here's a 1st [screenshot] showing where. Step 3: Below the sweet images, fill in the following information as in my 2nd [screenshot] (the mail adress part on my screen is red because it says the adress is wrong, just nvm that) In the last field you choose a present-Item you and your friend receive when your friend completes registration. They only last 15 times tho'. When finished, click the orange button and proceed to corfirmation. Step 4: On the confirmation screen, click the right button to send your invitation mail. 3rd [screenshot] That's all you have to do to invite someone. When going to the Invitation-page again, you should see a list of invitations you've sent at the bottom. Note that Invitations expire after 20 days. And approved Invitations also disappear from the list. Next it's time for the invited one to work. (It may take a few minutes or even an hour 'til the Invitation-mail arrives.) Step 5: Open the mail from TOJ, click on the first Link (should be http://www.tetrisonline.jp/toj/_campaig ... ntrofriend ) and most importantly: Copy the 16 characters Coupon-Code, looks like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. You need this at the end. Step 6: Proceed to registration. 4th [screenshot] Step 7: Register regulary. The registration formular should be the same as in this reply. Fill in everything and sign up. Step 8: Receive the registration mail from TOJ and click on the first link. Final Step: Enter your UserID, password and just copy&paste the Coupon Code from Step 5. 5th [screenshot] That's it! Click on the right green button to go to the top page of TOJ. (the left button sends you to the beginner's guide) 6th [screenshot] With completing the Final Step, the two of you get premium members until 23:59, three days after completition. (Japanese time of course) Oh, and TOJ automaticly sends a friend request from the invited user to the inviting one when you login the first time. If there's still anything unclear, just let me know and I'll fix it.
