all the speed training in the world won't help you until you learn consistency.


once you are gettign to 999 on a regular basis, then think about increasing you rspeed. you need a solid foundation to work with first.

 

I think zaphod77 is talking about reaching the M-roll in the first place, whereas Amnesia is talking about clearing it.

Anyway..I feel unable to get such a insane time..

I prefer at least beat him with a Gm at 8:25..

 

This is the last record you'll be seeing from me for a very, very long time. I'm quitting Tetris in order to pay my real life the attention it demands. I'll still make forum posts from time to time, and you'll probably see me around in #arika, but I've deleted everything related to Tetris from my computer in order to remove all temptation to get sucked in again.

I think the whole point is that he finds it difficult to limit his play to 20 minutes a day.

My sub 20G has improved a lot, too. I'm misdropping a lot less and getting better sections in the beginning.


Now I just have to not lose my cool at the end. =P

Eh, I lied. It's not my fault the game is a big meanie.


This was my second time reaching 600, and my first time getting grade 1 before level 500. I'm not using watchpoints anymore, but I'm sure I was agonizingly close to S1. If only I could hide the grade, then there wouldn't be so much pressure.

 

I momentarily gave up the idea of having a TGM1 Gm. From now on I will focus on TAP and will come back when I get a S7 or something like that.

Hopefully this is a sign that my stacking technique has improved. My true love is Death mode, but I doubt I could survive 500 levels even at Death 0 speeds. Hence, it's time to practice in Master mode...

I guess I'll bump this thread to say I got an orange S9 in 8:36 yesterday. Even though I'm anxious to play more Ti, I've been forcing myself to play some TAP in preparation for Amnesia's visit. I need my zangis to be as strong as they've ever been! Here's hoping I beat my Master record while I'm here.
