GROUP STAGE:

- Players are ranked by the amount of wins.
*Special cases:
*1) If the amount of wins between 2 players is the same, then the winner between their match is ranked higher.
*2) If the amount of wins between 3 players is the same, then they are ranked by the ''win-lose-difference''.
*3) If the amount of wins between 4 players is the same, then they are ranked by the ''win-lose-difference''.
*4) If it's still impossible to rank the players after rule *1, *2 and *3, the players must play a re-match.

QUARTER FINALS (8 Players left, Competing for the positions #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 and #:

- Best of 3 sets (=first to 2 sets), each set first to 10.
- Set #1 + Set #2 do NOT contain deuces. In these sets you must NOT win by 2.

GREAT! Since it's impossible to register now, I save #14 and #15 for them. OK, so then I have 15 players now.
I must say that even though I save these places for them now, I won't hesitate to give a place away for a player who had given signs of being interested at an earlier phase.
I must admit that I am hoping for G-Fish or Chaos, but since they're not responding I don't count on them anymore.

If 1 more player will sign-up before the deadline, I will close the registration for this Tournament because then I'll have 16 players.
In other words: The first player who signs up now, will be the last player to be signed up in this Tourney!
[But since it's impossible to register, you must hope you'll be the first to find out that it is working again...

You're in! No doubt about it! I had saved 2 places: you get 1 of them. But make sure you visit this site a bit more...well at least make sure that you're REALLY contactable...you frightened me these days by being so silent.

EDIT: Via IRC Kevin Birell told me he will play. He will post his data soon. The second saved place will be given to Kevin. That means that this Tourney is REALLY full now.

As you can see there are 8 places at the loser bracket, but there are 9 players after the group stage. Explanation:
- All #3's go automatically to Loser bracket.
- The 3 competitors with the worst { [''delta''] / [Games played] }-ratio, will go to a small group stage where they will play against each other:

- The 2 best players qualify for the Loser bracket

I think you said something before about playing at a handicap of 2. Is that still the case, and if so, how exactly does it differ from normal play?

What is ''normal''?
You know that, when you play against somebody with friendcodes, you have to choose a ''handicap'' [1,2,3,4 or 5]before the match starts?
Well, the highest handicap gives the most scrappiest garbage and let the blocks fall faster than a lower handicap.
I've chosen that everybody must choose 2, because the garbage at handicap 1 is too tidy, garbage at handicap 3 is too scrappy.
[And if you play tds often, then you know that handicap 2 is some sort of well accepted standard].

Hey, I'm pumped about playing and trying to take at least one game from Rosti! Anyone wanna play before the tourney starts? I'll need to practice cause i've been playing TSplash only pretty much cause my cpu is really dropping the ball on me...

Also today I achieved my first sub 1 minute time in 40 lines tetris ever! on Tetris Splash. 59.56! woo!

Yes, it starts officially on 15 June.

New information:
Deadline for the matches of group stage: 29 June

So competitors have 2 weeks to finish their matches. But ofcourse: the sooner, the better.
