jago: Pics or it didn't happen. ...wait. I mean, c'mon...GRAPE? What will those crazy Fanta people think of next? Watermelon?! Blueberry?! Toxic Sludge?! ... Well, congrats on the purchase--Fanta's good stuff, and I'd imagine Grape is no different. =P
How about steaming pile of tech demo? Or what about steaming pile of tech demo... with arrow smashing?
I never thought I'd see the day when Tetrisconcept completely ignored a Ti machine to discuss a soft drink.
Isn't that obvious ? He sold himself to the Coke Company ! Expect some heavy soft beverage spam from him in a near future...
Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest morgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure-wear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrasment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life. But why would I want to do a thing like that? in other words, i bet you'll probably never recall of this place when you'll get older as i am
Just a question, but is that a supergun under that table? Supergun being what you could use to run an arcade PCB on a TV/PC. Im saving for one.
That's actually the Type X machine. Though I believe he has a supergun sitting on top of the Type X, which you can just barely see the bottom of.
Does Ti run at a higher scan rate than the 15.7 kHz typical of JAMMA? Or do newer Dell monitors sync down to 15.7 kHz? Or is there a line doubler between them?
The Type-X has a standard DVI output and ships with a DVI to D-Sub adapter. If you want to hook it up to an arcade monitor you need a signal converter in between, so having it hooked up to a flat panel would actually mean you're using the "native" output. Also, Ti outputs 640x480@60Hz.
Yep, all true. To answer tepple's question more directly, Ti uses a scan rate of 31 kHz and the JVS -> JAMMA converter turns it into some sort of 15.7 kHz signal with a mild but obvious loss in visual quality.
The reason why I asked is because I wanna play Mushihimesama-Futari. And its arcade only. And I have a good amount of money saved right now.
