Every time someone signs up, I add them to the bottom of the player list. They're not ranked at all below the previous league's participants, it's just the order people joined. I'm not going to make any sort of exceptions based on skill, except for Digital if he decides to come back, and that was on the basis that he finished highly in the previous league anyway.

It could actually be pretty fierce in Division C, because there are a lot of good players who are in there merely because they signed up later, while Division B is mostly the players who finished lower down in the previous league.

If people can get games played reasonably quickly, then we can speed through seasons and after a couple things should have sorted themselves out a little bit.

wish i could play, but i'm in europe without regular access to the internet for a couple more weeks.

And idea when you get continuous access? I'll most likely set a deadline of 4-8 weeks for the season to run.

Love that it's separated in three divisions this time around, let's just hope I can find the time.
I actually haven't touched tetris since the carnival of death though.. :S

You can still play them, but I don't think it will mean anything for the league. You can move up the divisions though, but Rosti knows more about that.

Looking at the players, I actually think on the whole Division B is easier than Division C. Div B is mostly players who finished lower down in the first run through, while Division C has a lot of very good players who have joined since the first one ended.

For this round, as far as the league is concerned, you can't. When all the games have been played, or the deadline for the season passes, the top three people in each division will move into the division above, and the bottom three people will move into the one below.
So currently, you can't play people in Division A in league matches, but in two season's time you can be.

Even so, I do not expect to be able to beat very many people in division B but, I think I stand a chance against some opponents in division C. Though you might be right.

It shouldn't be a problem. As long as you come into IRC from time to time to ask for matches, or hang around in the game lobby, it should be OK.

Could I also ask that people post their alternative nick on Blockbox if they have one? It makes things difficult when people have signed up to the tournament with one name but have a different one in-game.

1st post, been lurking for a while on the forums/irc
