sorry, i'm not trying to knock you, or bill. i just work at a competiting bowling alley and get a LOT of guff from the owners of that place.
[not directly, but might as well be] I know a lot of people who work there and they're pretty cool. the bartenders used to bowl everyweek and i drank lots of beer with them. i apol - o - gize.

  2. Oh yeah, no problem. I just really want this game to succeed, as it's currently the only one in the US. Let's see if it won't stay that way! [IMG]

Fixed! Sorry, the other one gave off a negative vibe. [IMG]

EDIT: Just realized I was looking at it from the wrong angle. [IMG] *unfix*

  4. Whoa, whoa, I'm being misinterpreted! All I meant was to avoid that coin slot, not the game! [IMG] The game is wonderful. Even the right joystick is just a little stiff, not bad, per se. Both joysticks are supposed to be replaced soon, anyways. And coin slots can get jammed on any game. Anyway, I don't think the game is really in a terrible place or cabinet at the moment. Sure, it's not right there when you enter, but it is out in the open in a small arcade. Give it some time, it'll do fine. Oh, and I'm all for the tournament on the 14th of December. I'll have to check my schedule, but I'll probably be able to make it.

    ANOTHER Ti question:

    classic rule and world rule.

i cna't read japanese, so .....it's a buncha just whatever to me. but i noticed there is like lock diffrences between the 2 plus the buttons are diffrent.

it kinda messed me up cause i learned to play left handed [world rule buttons] using classic rule drop-lock-pop-lock whatever mechanics. is there any way to mix the 2, or should just just relearn to hit a diffrent button?

  6. There's no way to mix the two, but unless you're using all 3 rotation buttons you can just slide your fingers over.

yeah, that's what i ended up doing, but it made my finger 1 button farther away from hold, which ....did a LOT more damage then i expected.
is there any OTHER diffrence between the 2 modes?

oh...and whats the time limit you need to get past 500 in master? i kept getting 500 at like 7:30 .... [i know, it's horrible. but what time do i need ot aim for?]

  8. "...finger 1 button farther away from hold,..."
You're not using your thumb for Hold?

Also, the time limit at 500 is 7 minutes.

  9. Is anything in the works for the fliers? Have we come to a general consensus of what exactly we want on them/what size we want them to be?

  10. I think muf is cooking up something fancy. I bet we'll have it covered soon. [IMG]

I'm doing a translated instruction strip, a translated instruction card, and possibly a flyer and/or poster.

You should check mufs Ti highscore thread, there are alot of infos about the differences between World and Classic. [IMG]

  14. Great news! Our TGM cabinet's USB security dongle is dead.

Fuck my life. I worked so hard for this game and now it's fucking dead without repair.

Anyway, we'll be performing a vasectomy on the cabinet likely tomorrow. If you think hard enough about it, you'll get what I mean.

Why dont you contact the seller and ask if they could help you out?
Giving up such an expensive game without even trying to resurrect it sounds just wrong. [IMG]

And are you sure its the USB dongle?

  16. No no no! I didn't mean it like that! I mean that we have a way to "fix" the problem. At any rate, the machine is booted up right now at Sakura-Con and we're going to fix it next time it doesn't boot. There's a way around this stuff...
