  1. I wonder for S, Z, and I pieces, if you could do the "piano fingers" method (ala Street Fighter 2), by mashing A then B very quickly to increase the odds that the spin gets registered on the right frame...
     
  2. Yes but you also open up the possibility that you hit both rotations on consecutive frames and then spin-unspin lol. I also don't remember what happens when the buttons are pressed in the same frame (priority vs. cancel?). Anyway, I think a single, deliberate button press is the most consistent approach.
