I've done a 1704 (assuming I've added correctly). I intend to upload a video every Sunday, so hopefully I see improvements in my PB soon as well. For comparison my PB is 433, the average in this series is about 340.

Hey and welcome to the forum. I'm glad you are actually trying this category. This is run by a lot of people who have practised Death mode a lot. 391 is actually good as a beginning! It takes time to increase that score, I hope you will enjoy the ride
I can guess that would be so. I guess I'll put in the caveat that I'm not actually playing an arcade TGM2 there; I got that score playing Speed Mania on Nullpomino using the Classic2 rotation system. I've only recently gotten into playing ARS; for most of my Tetris-playing life I've been using Standard-EXP (SRS-X on Heboris) as my rotation system. Using that, I can easily clear level 999 on TAP Death mode in under 6 minutes. Even using Classic3 (TGM3's system) I can get to about level 200 or so before topping out. But Classic2 is just a nightmare because of the lack of kicks on the I.
Hey BBQ. Anyway, time for a new round of 5, this time featuring me playing way slower just to try to get the pieces in their right positions. 99 + 126 + 60 + 73 + 78 = 436. Marginally better, but still not quite. And another: 85 + 106 + 110 + 123 + 155 = 579. ------ One more. This time I somehow managed to shatter my personal record of 191 to get 246, and then recorded another top-10 game, then did two horrible ones and a mediocre one, but still improved my average. 246 + 171 + 71 + 49 + 103 = 653. ------- And finally, don't count this one, but here's my record in Standard-EXP: 999 (5:41.06) + 999 (5:29.46) + 999 (5:25.13) + 999 (5:15.06) + 999 (5:35.36) = 4995.
