I had something really good going until about 1230, and then the mistakes piled up. I'm starting to think the 1200 section is actually possible. Must train....
Oh yeah, bravo in the 1000-1100 section!

 

Not that you need my advice at this point in your TGM progress but I would advise you to now focus on trying to use exclusively minimal-input moves in 1200. It doesn't really matter too much where you place a piece...just make sure you get it where you want it and that the placement that you're making doesn't require any double/triple taps/rotations. Mistakes in 1200 seem to come primarily from hesitating and completely letting 3 or 4 pieces go in my experience. No need to stack cleanly, just make sure the piece is going where you want it to.

 

In complement : a critical reflex to develop : it feels a bit similar to the M ROLL where you have to erase constantly the historic of the pieces belong the " - 3 tetrimino " in your head :

Try to never desync with the current active tetrimino and the one in next, it is true that placing a piece in a wrong place at 1200 is almost never a problem IF you can immediately skip and ignore it, and re-sync your focus on the current piece.
So you should NEVER have in mind this : "Shit I missed this placement, so what to do now with that.."

Actually you don't have to stack a section for ~23 sec, you need to place a lot of independant tetrimino during ~23 sec.. At least at our level when we try to complete it for the first time, when you will have the speed of Kan you will try to stack it

Also : practice manual lock at 1200 ! why not ...

That's an alt + prntscr, Ti's windowed mode is buggy with Aero off.

 

I got a 381 here at Eindhoven last night which is a new best for me. Don't know the time but didn't manlock so who cares. Happened soon after Amnesia arrived and sat next to me so maybe I'll check the vod when I get back home.

 

First time over 400, been stuck against the wall that is the speedchange at 300.

 

Just a few days after I got that 381 (up from 371) at the Eindhoven meeting I get a personal best here at home too.. much smaller pb this time though.

If we accept that Ghetto is not cheating, then he should be 2nd, regarding the completion time, a 4:48 is far above a 5:33 and here again we are in a non sens.
