I don't know about 'easily', but it helps that I rarely try to time-attack and usually already stop locking at 400. Although I'm sure at some point I'll go for a sub6 and pull my hair out.
Nice Jago! Quite the improvement! I just got a personal best by a handful of levels: 805, 4:47:85 GM someday,,,
Two nights ago I awoke in the middle of the night. Thinking about Death, I asked myself, "how many more hours will I need to play in order to become a Grandmaster"? Dazed, I told myself, "at least 50 hours away", and fell back asleep. Sadly, despite this record I don't feel that much closer. I think I'm just about the most inconsistent Death player; I get an M maybe once every 25 games, and I think this game in particular was complete luck.
I'm pretty sure I have a 6:09 something, but didn't screenshot it, so may as well make it this one. GM, 999 @ 6:12:56
I didn't record a video of my 351 PB on the last page, but today I had a 340 in 2:53 recorded (actually my very first game) so I uploaded it.
Not much to see here, just a new personal best by 14 levels, from 351 to 365. I played for stacking and survival, NOT speed. So I didn't manually lock at all. So yeah it's not very exciting, it's 45 seconds slower than my previous 351 record. I had a play session of about 2 hours mixing Death with Master and survived to 300+ like 5 or 6 times. Which is way better than the 1 game/week it used to be. Though like I said, I didn't play for speed so that's likely why. It's a new best though so progress was made.
Hot damn, just went from a 299 to this: 384 @ 3:33:35 Managed to enter 300 with like 5 lines of garbage and then clear down to almost a bravo But 300 really is just too fast for me... Time to go play master until I get a clear, I think.
Code: clincher ---------- 573 @ 3:46:93 Ansd with that I've pretty much beaten all of my 4 year old records that I didn't think I was gonna be able to beat, hah. Pretty happy with that new best. (Excuse the poor video quality)
On the submission it says 576, and on the YT video, 570. It actually reads 573 at the end of the game Good job!
Ah... I may or may not have been a bit intoxicated when I played, uploaded and submitted the run. Fixed now!
Welcome and congrats! Was this record made today, then? Can we add it to the Carnival of Death record board? It's an on-going event we celebrate each year (March 25th - March 31st).
I got it at the March 27. You can add it to the Carnival of Death record board, I had also posted the result in the event post. The below is the modified time of the inp replay file and the nvram file.
Non-record post: I just got this with stick and it's exactly the motivation i need to switch to stick for good and ditch kb plays:
