"Great Clear Time"? "incredibly fast these days"? Appreciated, but I thought that game was rather slow. Code: 35--Budster----------------Gm - 999 @ 12:09:08 - 06/19/10 Should have sub-12 soon.
This took way more effort than it should have, but sub-11 is sub-11! Code: 14--EIHoppe----------------Gm - 999 @ 10:59:36 - 06/21/10 Now I think I'm not going to play this for another year or so. That should hopefully be enough buffer from you whippersnappers these days, haha. ~EI
Slightly less noobish time. Still needs work, of course. Code: 46--croikle----------------Gm - 999 @ 12:46:66 - 06/20/10
Christ, it seems like you can just wish upon a sub-11 and oh hey magical sub-11 woohoo. I haven't had any luck with getting Gm since my magical Gm a few weeks ago, but then again I've been preoccupied with other projects. The farthest I've gotten since then was S9 @ 96x. Why does this feel so familiar?
I suspect you're both being particularly hard on yourself and underestimating how much I've been working toward that sub-11 clear as of recently. Regardless, just keep at it. It probably won't take too much more practice before you can pull consistent GMs when playing casually. (of course, pushing for faster times is another story entirely...)
When I entered in TGM for the first time, I was S6 at my first or second day on the game, and I stayed maybe 2 months at S6, I got S8 directly and then soon after GM, after a total session of 4,5 months approximately.
Wow, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones then? It took me about 5 months or so for my first Gm, and it happened to be nearly sub-12. Maybe I am being a bit hard on myself, but in reality all I want to do is just get another Gm so I can stop (temporarily) TGM1. One of these days, it'll happen again. Hopefully before the end of the year.
