Finally have time to play again, and I think I'm close to the next step. Just got a very solid S4 at 3:41:66, but only reached 502. If I had just survived a bit longer...
lol i went and played Ti for 3 hours today (50 yen for two credits is good value for money, me thinks! ). I am getting S3's and S4's more consistently now. Positions 9 to 13 on the provisional ranking are very close so you can make a big jump with a little improvement. You'll get there eventually if you keep playing. Is 223 the only pro you've seen in Kyoto? Did you talk to him? Nice trip to Tokyo. Say hello if you meet some players and a Happy New Year.
If you're havin' grade problems I feel bad for ya son. I got 99 problems but M-roll ain't one. On a side note, does anyone know roughly how long it's going to take to get the awesome big decoration? I have about 620 games on my account and only three "big blue" decorations!
Got m2 to the other night while admittedly doing bad. I'll try to keep doing better but this is my first time in the m-range, so yey. Large Image I'm obviously 3rd.
Statistics: Singles - 24 Doubles - 1 Triples - 2 Tetrises - 1 Total Lines - 36 Grade Points - 5.8 A single unfilled cell when you triple with an I cost you .7 grade points, which would be enough to roll you over to 6. Alternatively, a bit of endgame manual locking would easily get you the 2 lines you need.
More epic: God damn! Under one second away! The worst part is that I level stopped at 5:46 and tried to cram in one more Tetris. If anyone's interested, here's the current ST ranking.
