so the game should be released on or before November 30th, unless the tournament date gets pushed back.
That really annoys the hell out of me..... They have done absolute DICK with anything like this for Splash on the 360. I would love to know why. From what I've seen and read about Party, I think it's gonna be pretty cool. Unfortunately no Wii for me...
Wife won't let me... Red Baron Pizza is giving away Wii stuff. Looks like this is my best chance. Lol.
She doesn't want to give up her poker buds. If I had my old job and was making the money I use too, it would be no problem.Yay for downsizing!!
Well, at least you have a console with a software lineup that casts a shadow over pay-to-download Tetris. Not that every release of a Tetris game isn't met with a profound emotional and spiritual reaction from me, but still...
True. Lol. The main reason I would love to be able to play are that I feel somwhat let down by both versions for the 360. I enjoyed Evolution for a while, and it's still fun to play. But it feels so sluggish compared to Splash. I love Splash, but after all the various games modes in Evo, I was very let down with only marathon, 40 lines and online. Party appeals to me in many ways: The last Tetris game that I played on a regular basis was Tetris Plus for the PS1. As far as I know it had endless marathon. Sped up untill you died. I loved that version. Is that how it is on Party? I know there are Items online. Think that would extend the life of the online aspect for the general public. Splash does not have many people playing it seems. Can you play without items online? Co-op mode just sounds fun. I'm sure there is more, but I don't feel like thinking about it anymore. Time to go get my ass handed to me in TGM for a few...
They have details here, but I don't see it on the actual tetrisparty site yet: http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/Tetris-Online-Inc-Announces-First/story.aspx?guid=%7B5D46186D-4D00-436E-861C-ADFEED6043A8%7D
Sounds like it, but at least there's a decent chance of making the top 500 and getting the Wii points. You'd think they'd have something extra for first place, but maybe they don't want people going too crazy trying to be #1.
The info is up on tetrisparty.com now. Check the rules carefully, because it's not open to everyone worldwide. The prize is only 1200 Wii points, but I guess that way you can win back the price of the game. There's 500 prizes for US/Canada (minus Quebec and a few states that aren't eligible), and 500 for Europe/New Zealand/Australia, so you don't even have to compete against the Japanese.
aww it's a weak prize, but everyone who enters from TC should be able to get it. top 500 players is very generous.
