To get the same effect as in the video caffeine posted on the front page most recently. Just turn of your ghost piece in TDS and play Push at level 1. I just tried it, and it's really difficult. It really drove home to me how much more I need to pay attention to the previews, at least for the first piece.

i just got my new NES and NES Tetris in the mail yesterday...
blog to come about the actual tetris game but i turned the ghost piece off (heh) and i hit the select button to get rid of the preview button. On level 9 i can only get like.. 40 lines before things start getting ugly. definitely an eye opener. of course the initial piece position didn't help.

On the topic of that video, where can I get a decent tetris game for my phone? The one I have now is alright, gives me a next piece preview, basic controls, but I can only rotate one way, can't do T-spins, no shadow (Which I ordinarily wouldn't use anyway, but I always hod my phone at an angle...) and has aboslutely no lock delay.

Depends. What kind of phone? And is it capable of running Java MIDlets?

Nokia 6103 I do believe. It is currently running Jamtris, without sound.
