Now, all you have to do, is start the game, and enter Death mode. Right as the game starts press P and turn off the level code. Your job is now to survive the long-winded journey of 500+. Post your records here! (To find out how many levels you survived, just take your current level and take away 501)

I think the whole point of the carnival leaderboards was only accepting records broken during the carnival, so that people can be judged by their current skill, instead of old records they once broke.

I got a 72X in 1:24 today..

But the left right of my stick are a bit damaged, and I have no time to change it and cut a new restrictor..So it is my last word for the carnival..

It is really strange that I've played DOOM at 2,3 tm/s for 2 months, and back on DEATH 500 at 1,9 tm/s, I still suffer a lot..Even not less.. http://www.tetrisconcept.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif

I meant so they count in the proper TAP Death Records thread. If you can get 900+ from 500 then surely you can beat your current best of 634 from level 0?

I find there's a sort of transitioning period in Death/Shirase, similar to that of Master, that makes it quite difficult for those of us who are not fast enough to lock the whole way. In Master, the 300-500 area can be a great annoyance prior to entering 20G. In Death/Shirase, it's the 300-500 area where you're "expected" to manual lock through. So anyhow, I understand what you mean Amnesia. Starting on 500 and not locking from the start feels easier than manual locking and then stopping.
