and for the people who dont have cybernetic optical implants you can have a look at this

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg116/karoshidrop/WORK/gildan_swatches.jpg

which i would recommend since this is the most precise colour swatch I could find.

I use these almost exclusively but I occasionally try to track down more unusual colours upon request.

heres approx chest sizes (they can vary between the listed numbers depending on brand and the run of that stock from the supplier)

Small 34 - 36

Medium 38 - 40

Large 42 - 44

X Large 46 - 48

2XL 50 - 52

3XL 54 - 56 ( Only avaliable in Black, Navy and ash in Gildan range)

*PLEASE NOTE* I have tracked down tee shirts which are 3XL and 4XL they are not Gildan (Jerzees colours shirts for the record) but are great quality and are avaliable in the following colours. due to size and weight the prices are subject to change over regualr stock.

Bottle Green,Bright Royal, French Navy, Black and White

if your bigger than 4XL I can right now get Polo shirts up to 6XL please contact me for details.

New range of hoodies i have coming out. there 100% cotton and a nice weight.

it has to be seen in person to be believed. Its a bit flash if thats your style and I only make a few of these at a time due to the difficulties of the foil and it being just a ball sack to work with. ive been saying only three a month. But it might change. there is also a possibility of a metallic gold cave shirt being made (like the gold in the batrider)

more shirts to come so hold tight. theres a few that are missing but im just getting this up for you to have a look at and tell me if i should change anything with my sales thread.

:PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING:
From now on everyone who lives outside the European union will be required to have Signed for P&P they dont go missing as much other parcels and for 4GBP it really is just a lot less hassle if it goes missing as I have to wait over 4 weeks from its dispatch date to see if it turns up or not before i can make a claim to be able to re buy the stock and send it out to you again. the
4GBP signed for P&P applies to anyone whos packages reach a value of 40GBP or more no matter where you live. I hate having to force people to do this but it covers my ass from paypal rape and it insures you get your parcel with no stress as to if you will ever recieve it. sure its another 4GBP but in the chance it does go missing you will recieve your clothing THAT I PROMISE!

if in the unlikely event I have sent you the wrong shirt or they feature errors. please contact me via the forum mail system or my email first explaining who you are on which forum and whats the matter with your shirts. I make every effort to have all my customer be happy with the shirts they order. I am only happy to replace faulty or incorrect goods.

:OH AND ONE LAST THING COULD YOU PLEASE READ THIS:

it is vital that you tell me who you are on the forum as its hard enough to get all your orders correct with all the correct info, let alone when i have to do detective work trying to figure out who you all are in my paypal!

so please remember when you pay in paypal that you

Tell me who you are on the forum

Tell me your shirt sizes as well as colours that we agree on in PMs

Tell me anyother special requests on the delivery (like a note saying please leave in the front porch or the like) or any special custom work inc links to gifs!

by following all these little rules you save me lots of time and i can get these to you in the quickest time I can. Thank you for looking

Ok *takes a quick breather*

Im going to show you how i go about making my shirts as some of you have asked whats what! right here goes. . this might take a while.

(this was written way back on the very first time i made shirts for killercabs.com obliviously i mention current stock levels which is way off since that was about a year and a half ago (at the least)

after getting all the orders for shirts I decided just to order a shit load more than I needed as a lot of you dont have cash right now or I are not in to the cave ones. Ive got about 40+ navy in sizes M to 3XL and all the other bits in the other colors so i had to check them first there was about 100 between the sizes and colors.
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_killer1.jpg
after everything was there (which is a first) it was on to the fun part which is the vinyl (however not fun waiting for some one to come train you to do it is the shit part) I only had a bit of time before i had to be out the warehouse today so i could only do one of the unique ones this is one
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0019.jpg
Johnny-G's super trip inducing color schemes he chose Lime green tee with a yellow Vinyl.

Lets watch . .
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0021.jpg
After fighting back the Lucy in the sky style trip I take the image (the cave logo today) increased the size of it so now its just over 5inches squared (or 130 metric) because you wanted it bigger and put it though my laptop with a piece of software mirrored it so it cuts right and with magical and the some kind of demonic ritual (or USB I forget) it tells my vinyl cutter what to do. after checking by doing a ghost cut (basically does tracks the square it sits in without actually cutting it) Its time to tell it to go! usually its best to do big runs of these as its more cost effective but I had a small piece from a job I did the other day or normals i would of done a roll of about 10+ and you the extras at a later date as im sure they will get used in the future
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0022.jpg
I assure you its moving its just hard to see with pictures.
once its done you check it for defects (which happens from time to time which is hella annoying when you do a run of 100 and then it decide to cut a line through the middle making them all worthless) and time to peel away the big bits
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0024.jpg
and weed out all the fiddly bits
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0029.jpg
once thats done all your left with is what you want on the tee done Its ready to go on the tee
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0033-1.jpg
so i then grab the tee i want to put it on (i think i used to the color now is that normal?)
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0036.jpg
line it up make sure its not to high or too low. Stick it in place with some magic tape (so its adhesive does not transfer on to the tee while under the heat) and your ready to heat seal it (its real fucking hot mind your fingers) just remember to adjust for the thickness of the garment and the type of vinyl
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0038-1.jpg
close it wait a few seconds
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0039.jpg
then this awesome Chinese tunes plays to tell me to take it off. Its not an MP3 or midi but its pretty fucking cool for a heat press.
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0040.jpg
then you peel of the backing
you then have one shirt with the power to both induce vomiting (from the color) and create awe from vert shooter fanboys
http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n141/DJlordstar/IMG_0042-1.jpg
ooh god what have i created remind me to tell Johnny G not to make me play god. you guys better be reading this it took me ages

this was all my old equipment I have much newer better equipment now. but it serves the purpose of telling you how i got about making them. A lot of hard work goes in to making them.

I'd be more interested if it had the Ti logo on the front or back as well.
Due to the nature of flex vinyl printing, full colour on a black background is very time-consuming and in many cases ugly. A problem I see with the Ti logo is the white glow behind the "Terror-Instinct" letters. You would need a black rectangle behind that, or in the most favourable case, a black background that follows the contour of the white glow.

Hi everyone one!
My names Lordstar I am the guy whos been working with mufunyo On this Arkia shirt. I have this place booked marked so I will be taking orders for the shirts. Just shoot me and PM and I will try to answer requests in a timely manner. Anything outside the EU P&P wise is 3GBP extra this covers the extra distance and insurance.

I have a few orders on right now and I make them in the order they come in You can expect dispatch to be about two weeks. I try my best to keep everyone up to date via the various forums I sell on. any questions feel free to ask me.

If you are local I you are welcome to come and collect (I live live in formby I travel to Liverpool weekends and some evenings)

If a group of you wanted to do a group order to one address in the US or Canada or anywhere I can do a P&P discount on that.

If black or white are not your colours, there are other option. These have to be ordered in specially and take a little more time. Most of you I see want the black but the option is there if you want to take it. http://www.tetrisconcept.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

Hey Lordstar. I currently live in Ormskirk (when not at Uni), as you might already know from muf.

For this specific shirt, it's more convenient for me to pay via someone else, seeing as my PayPal account is currently not fully set up, and he owes me £15 anyway, so I should have the details sent tomorrow.
I might ask for collection if I buy shirts in the future (which I would say is probably likely) though.

Lordstar
09-14-2008, 04:59 PM
paying with someone other than your own account is fine. Collection other than coming to my unit in birkdale is not really an option since im usually busy all the time these days, I have to take some time off for myself too lol .

ones been purchased and I am ordering in the shirts this Monday. I do the orders as the orders come in theres a few before it but hopefully I should be able to get it out in good time.

So I've paypalled you but the money bounced back to me "not enough information". A bit of a surprise given that I passed complete order details to muf ages ago, and then PM'ed you as well when I did the payment. And you sure do sound busy these days. I don't mean to be rude, but since that happened a friend of mine has told me he has a friend who would do the same job for $20 shipped.

I'm not trying to get a cheaper price out of you... I agreed to buy a shirt from you and would still happily get one at your price. But given how slow moving this order has been, if you genuinely would rather have free time I can get my shirt from the other seller (who would do this as a personal favour to my friend, and therefore only make 2 shirts for us and not steal the rest of your business).

No, The problem is I need the shirt details inside the paypal note along with the money. I sell computer games tees on three forums not including this one along with my day to day work. I get a few orders a day and there all for different things and when you equate the 36 colours and the S to XXXL size range and the 10 or so logos I have its hard for me to keep track it is easier for me to just send the money back and politely ask for all the information in the one place so I can dispatch the order in the quickest possible time. It takes a lot longer for me to email people asking for the info and then when i get the info i need its separate from my paypal account which is where I do most of my orders. Its just the filing system I have if i start doing things different things get lost and I would have unhappy customers. As for you getting your shirt made by someone else if thats what you want to do thats ok. Mufu supplied the artwork to me so its not cost me anything to set up other than my time and his.

muf

Yeah, there's no need to defend your practices as it seems very logical. It's how I'd do things if I were in your business. My only reason for complaint is that I followed the instructions in this thread to a T (lol terrible pun). In particular:

When I have received your PM I will reply with the final price and the paypal address to send it to. Write the shipping address on the PayPal transfer.

Since you seem to be pretty ok with it, I will in fact get my shirt from the other seller. But not because I don't like you! Half the price is half the price. http://www.tetrisconcept.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Autotrace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raster_to_vector).
That's sort of the point I was making. I can guarantee it will look shitty if you autotrace it. I experimented a lot with various tracing programs in the past, and simply gave up and taught myself manual vector tracing instead. It's orders of magnitude slower (hours vs. seconds), but the result is well worth it.

ive been testing out my new equipment today. Its right up your alley guys

hello again. I been getting a bit of pratice in with my new printer so here are some pics. This was done as a present for one of my designers.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg116/karoshidrop/P1050513.jpg
it lays down a layer of white first this is set up for a black tee so it uses the natural dark pigmints to create shades and shadows.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg116/karoshidrop/P1050514.jpg

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg116/karoshidrop/P1050515.jpg

then after it drops the layer of white it drops the colour over the top. its a lot a calculations as it has to straddle it perfectley otherwise white outlines show. you also have to treat the shirts before hand. the whole process takes about 15mins per shirt that does not include working on the graphic itself which can take a lot of time if you dont know what your doing. I sure as hell dont. Like I say to everyone im a shirt printer not a shirt graphic designer. Alough i do have some flair for some things.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg116/karoshidrop/P1050516.jpg i mean the colours on this are fantastic you just cant get this level of shades and mixes in a screen print you would need a few dozen screens to just get that close and even then it would not look the same.

Sorry for the delay, The shirts are read to print as we speak. The first one went out on thursday/friday just gone should be on a pain to the USA right about now. Ive marked down the parcel too so no nasty suprises on your end dude. http://www.tetrisconcept.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

If your intrested in buying one please send me a PM with your size and desired shirt colour. I have a few in stock ready to be printed but a lot of it i have to order in so bear with me.

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg116/karoshidrop/gildan_color_chart.jpg

hoodies are also avaliable in these colours

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg116/karoshidrop/Colour_Selecta_09_AW_P-1.jpg
there good quality 100% cotton hoody. i will give everyone a little note inside with washing instructions (dont worry there not dry clean only)

prices start from £15 inc P&P inside the UK a little more for the EU and everyone outside the EU has to pay 4GBP for signed for P&P. I am sorry to have to inforce this over 80% of the parcels which go missing are outside the EU this ensurses I am able to keep a track of it and dispatch a replacement if it was to go missing. Seems the thieving posties dont like stealing the signed for packages (im guessing some kind of magic or curse runes) so its worth that extra.

Since Kevin is meeting up with a bunch of UK players, and shortly thereafter returning to Seattle where another group of players are meeting up, we've got a good possibility to circumvent these extra shipping charges. I'm thinking one bulk order shipped to, say, Rosti or edo, which is then picked up by Kevin, and later distributed to the rest of us in Seattle.

These shirts would be a steal when saving on shipping like this. Are Seattle players interested, and is Rosti/edo/Kevin willing?

Lordstar
06-15-2009, 09:20 PM

I hope you managed to fix your printer in the end. It looks expensive.

its touch and go with it. Im about one accident away from just driving up and leaving it on there door step.

its crazy though because for the past 3 months they have been coming down every two weeks or so sorting stuff out. ive had my head glued to a phone crawling underneath removing screws and fixing shit. all this time they have been probing me asking me what im dooing (looking for a way to pin the bills on me) so this week they turn up and say oh yeah we have this need ink manifold because the other one was dodgey.

and when they took the top off the printer head the valves which were supposed to hold solid shots of sir tight ink had fucking huge bubbles in about 3mm in diameter. You could say im being anal about it but when the ink is designed to dry on contact with the air its just waiting to fuck itself.

enough ranting its working now. . . . so touch wood (never used to do that until i got this printer as im not superstitious) everything is ok now.
