Sorry but when I watched it, I tried to analyse at maximum..Until lv 999 I was thinking at 99% it was authentic skill..But the staff roll is too strange..

Okay, I think i've figured out the m-roll requirements for Heboris G4.


1) reach 999 at 6:30

2) get no section time regrets. (there are 10, one for each section)

3) get the first 4 out of 10 cools (reaching 800 on the speed curve at level 400)

4) grade of m5 before the roll.


The grade breakdown is.


10 grades from no regrets=s2

+4 from the required 4 section cools=s6


leaving 9 grades needed.


6 are available from the remaining section cools. (section 900 has one in g4), and 10 tetris cools are available. This means you can miss 7.


Having reached the m-roll, each tetris during it is a grade. It appears you must survive the roll to get the bonus, though. If it's not the m-roll, you need 3 tetrises for a grade, and you are capped at MasterM. 10 tetrises during the M-roll guarantees grandmaster, but only 2 are needed if your game has been perfect up to that point.


This is from studying master-hard in hebo mini, which is hebo mini's version of G4. I'm assuming it's the same.


Note: if yu fail an m-roll requirement, but get m6 anyway, you get a 2.5 second delay instead of 5 before the pieces vanish.

Okay seems my analysis is a bt off.


c7ex does not grade the same as "master-hard" in hebo mini.


But if i'm understanding this right, you had m7 going into the staff roll with what appeared to be 4 tetris cools, which was a high enough grade to qualify GM. You also got no regrets, and made the checkpoint at 400 (for the star). Your game time before the credits was 10:46 seconds too slow, though. You would have hit the m-roll, and you would have needed 32 lines in it for GM.


I know that hebo mini's version only counts tetrises in the staff roll, but apparently c7ex is not the same.

It is not that I don't trust you, but the leaderboard of Heboris can have some bug, on mine, the best rank is a MK, and I've never been MK in the sega style rotation..Heboris put a MK instead of a M for me..And it occured more than one time, sometime Heboris adds an additional rank..

that's true. although you don't have to provide a screen shot, if you're going to, a shot from the end of the game would be best.

also, it would be helpful if everybody could indicate which rotation system they used. i can't always remember the piece colors for each system.

The game yells at you in angry red letters: PUT THE BLOCK!! and the credits stop rolling. It's pretty cute; when I got my very first Hebo-G1 Gm I was so nervous I tried abusing infinity, and to my dismay it stopped the credits.

it HAS a torikan, and uses different scoring and score threshholds. Only it's speedcurve matches. It's funny though that it pauses the credits if you try and abuse infinity, though. lol. that's priceless

i honestly don't know if there are differences between the two modes, but my grade seems consistent with the others if you look at level and levels/second. i have a higher level but lower lv/s compared to rednefed, and my grade is higher than people with a lower level and similar lv/s.

That would appear to match what's done in the Lockjaw leaderboards that have columns for Lockjaw Engine version and speed curve. It might look like this:

Because nobody plays Heboris any more. People use Texmaster or Nullpomino.

Honestly I don't know what your record means because I'm not familiar with Heboris. M, MV, and MO all at the same time just adds to the confusion. Congrats I guess? But I really can't relate.

These kinds of bugs combined with Heboris' horribly innacurate grading have shifted players towards Texmaster and Blockbox, which is why these records threads are so deserted.

I have jujube's permission to maintain his record threads until he decides to comes back, if he ever does that is. And I have no problem with Amnesia getting mod powers.

I update all threads that colour_thief maintains which include Amnesia's and a few other important ones. In the other cases I give the thread owners enough time to update the threads. When that doesn't happen after a period of time I do it myself. I have no problem with keeping all leaderboards up to date at all times. Still I prefer when thread owners keep maintaining their threads because its more beneficial for the community.
