As for Push- I would like to play around a bit vs. a human without wasting rating points, since I'm sure I'm not very good at it. But I'm not dying to get into it or anything.


I'm usually on daily at around 11pm for a couple of hours and maybe for about an hour at around 9am (EST). Occasionally I jump on between, say, 5pm and 9pm, but not very often. I own my own business and usually work 10am to 11pm daily.

Yeah, I've not dived into Push much either, due to my fear of dropping my rating (for some reason it likes to pair me up with some dude with 500 wins in push when I have 1. Similar rating or no, it just ain't right.).

And about the friend games, I think someone has to create a game and then someone else joins the game. I think a little symbol pops up when friends are online, kinda like it does in Mario Kart.

That works perfect for me. That's the time that I'm on most. I probably won't be on much tomorrow though because of stupid finals. But any other weekday at that time is perfect for me. We could try for 4 player games, but if there aren't enough people we could just play standard 2 player or push.

Can Anyone confirm this? How exactly does the friend code work? Does it have to be One person inviting the other joining? Im curious and want to play some rounds versus everybody here. Healthy competion. Anyways post if your in. Im available most of the time. specifically evenings from 6pm EST to 12am est.

The friend icon only appears if someone is hosting a game, and you can only see it from the menu where you choose Worldwide/etc.

I don't think the difference in timezones helps much. On weekdays at least there is only a tiny slot where more than a few people are available online. What time was it for you when i played you Phydeaux? (was around 8:30pm for me)


Also how do the codes work? My DS knows if i type one in wrong or make one up, but i cant see a pattern in them

I've been browsing this forum for several weeks but this is actually my first post. I'm a French player who'd like to meet and play with other Tetris addicts.


My friend code's 474 932 165 490 and my wifi nickname is "Tarto France" (with France written in Japanese katakana characters that won't display properly on the gaming hub).


I try to play everyday, usually around 7-8PM GMT. I might not be able to play for the next couple of days though, but I'll sure be back online next week.


I usually don't play push (don't like it) and 4p (find it too random), but I'd like to practice these modes, especially 4p, in friend matches.

so apparently if you use your cart in a different system on a different wifi signal it erases all of your friend codes(this I knew about). However it also takes the liberty of changing your actual friend code. I was playing my cart on Colour thiefs DS using his wirelessconnection and have just realized that my friend code changed. Nice to see another European player amonst the waves of Americans Tarto. GMT as well! I'd swear I've played you online, but I play 4 player almost exclusively so I could be mistaken.

My DS is getting a bit battered and I'm pondering on whether to get a Lite, so my FC could get updated.


Looking to the likes of Caithness, Nick, Sully and obviously Mask here: What is the geocities thing all about, and what are the requirements to be in it? Eg. Why am I picked and not others? It's pretty cool having Sen and the like's FC though. Should I remove this part of my post to preserve exclusivity?

You don't need to link for it to update on the hub. I don't think linking actually does anything. There's 160,000+ people on the hub, and I doubt they've ALL linked their ID. If you have reset your DS, you will have a different ID, so your old name will stay on the hub forever. Just play - somethimes it just doesn't update.

I've found that sometimes I have to log off, log on again, play worldwide, and log off again in order for Nintendo to update my TDS Wi-Fi rating.

I'll give that a try Tepples. If it works I'll show my rank again in my sig.
