Who designed the tetrisconcept logo? I'm not sure we should be copying the old tetrisconcept so much.
I designed the logo. I have a really big layered version that I used to create the one you see here-- I changed it to match the vBulletin colour scheme.

Yes, and the original logo concept was by PetitPrince if I'm remembering correctly.

Caffeine is claiming you stole the forums. How did you get a backup without his consent? :P

If not distributing a backup, then I hope you're okay with me using something like Offline Explorer Enterprise to grab and archive the entire site (forums and wiki) and uploading to my own server as a sort of "read-only archive".
I totally encourage you to create a "read-only archive" of the forum, but keep in mind the wiki's only moving domains.

This isn't read-only though. This is (http://143.homelinux.com/archive/tc/www.tetrisconcept.com/forum/) however.

I just think it's very kind of him to advertise this website after all we've been through over the last few days.

for the most part, the original forum posts are still "read-only"! Even if you register you cannot edit them.
Besides, its not like he hand wrote every post by every member.
Its just typical totalitarian/dictator bull****

Huh? I'm able to edit my old posts.

I'm not, for some odd reason. This post (http://www.tetrisconcept.net/forum/showthread.html?p=16967#post16967) shows up as "tepples (Unregistered)". Perhaps it works only if you created your account before the old posts were imported.

Giving you your old posts back isn't automatic. It's pretty simple though... You should get them back very soon I would think.

The admins need to tie your new account to the old posts manually. That's why the old posts still show as unregistered for you.
edit: Oh, and welcome back.

Welcome back to the forum! I hope you like it. Your presence is much appreciated. Tying old posts to new accounts is a manual process; an SQL query searches for posts with a certain username and tags them with the userid of the newly registered profile. With some members that might be prone to impersonation we first check the IP and email address of the new member to see if it's really who they say they are, before linking the old posts.

Hiya Mufunyo,
Any chance of tying my old posts "Rich Nagel" to my new account (I joined yesterday)? Thanks in advance :)

No need to ask, this happens semi-regularly on its own.

Welcome back Rich, and feel free to theme to your heart's content. I don't think anyone but caffeine objected to your themeing before.

Superb, many thanks! :)
I'll have to get around to restoring my old(er) WIKI page, and then create a thread with links from the WIKI to them.
P.S. @All, y'all prolly already know this, but simply surf to http://www.cmoo.com/snor/weeds/ , and then search for files (CTRL+F in your browser of choice) with the text "Tet" and "LockJaw" ontained in them (minus the quotes) :)
