TDS 4-player

I haven't played this mode very much for a few reasons.


1) I don't have the patience to wait for opponents.

2) I feel that items and targetting add a random element that I don't particularly like.


So to those who do play 4-player a bunch- what times of day do you have the most success finding opponents quickly? Perhaps if I didn't have to wait so long for opponents I'd play it a little bit more.

Usually I don't have to wait too ong, but sometimes, yeah, I do have to wait for eternity. I just read, watch TV, browse here + the NSider forums or in general do something else which doesn't require my attention all the time. Generally that makes the wait less boring.

And if you don't pay attention to the DS, you find out that you've lost and that a player has dropped from the game, and you're back to start minus some rating points.

Generally I hold the screen in view, so when the game starts I see the screen go black, letting me know the game has started. The disadvantage of this is that I have no idea what the ratings of my opponents are.
