as far as DOOM in heboris goes, i think you have to reach 500 in under 4 minutes (more lenient than TA death). the only time i've played a game that ended at 500 my time was 4:04 because of excessive use of the hold box and a little infinite spin abuse. as far as i can tell there are no performance requirements other than time.

Suggestions:


-Adding the specific Heboris version of the record. I'd be surprised if things stayed consistent for an extended period of time. Maybe also requiring that new records use a recent version?


-Adding a blurb detailing where to download Heboris to the first post, with quick instructions, and a link to the wiki.


-Making this a Heboris thread that accepts Ti records, which is infinitely better than a Ti thread that accepts Heboris records.

I seem to remember reading that in Ti, each mode has two different torikan values: one for "classic" and a longer one for "world". So in Heboris, the Ti World value might be the same as for DS World.

DS-World is too HARD to play High speed mode
(Master-#G4,DEVIL-DOOM, and ACE-HELL) because no ARE.
If you are using DS-WORLD, you should use ACE-SRS instead.
ACE-SRS can use "almost" infinite rotation and contain ARE.

Hmm, it's a bit cluttered at the moment. I don't want to imagine what it'll look like with even more modes on the list. It would be nice to split the records of each mode into separate threads, but we'd need a new forum section first. Perhaps separate the "code" boxes?

I vote that we adopt standard settings for each mode. For example, Doom would require 3 previews, hold, and the level up bonus but no initial horizontal movement. Personally I'm pretty surprised Heboris doesn't automatically do this.

I've been playing tetris in some way, shape, or form all my life, but as far as TGM goes, I started playing TGM1 July of last year. Achieved Gm rank several months later and moved on to TAP. Stumbled upon tetrisconcept.com back in December, which is how I discovered C7. Until recently, I've been mostly using the ACE-ARS2 rotation w/ major infinite spin abuse http://www.tetrisconcept.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif With more time on my hands now that classes are over, I've been practicing a lot more with the TGM3 rotation.

Sorry to go off topic, but does anyone know if there is an Intel Mac version of Heboris out there? I remember hearing of a Mac port at some point but cannot find it anywhere.

Unfortunately, the Mac version is dead since version who knows what. There may be some who still have the old Mac port, but it's completely outdated compared to the recent Windows versions.
