Would it be hard to make a Heboris sound pack based on sounds from Lockjaw? If that would be feasible, I'd be willing to put the LJ sound effects under the zlib license.

I've never played TGM, so I don't know if my video violates anything, but as far as I know, it's just a default installation.

If there's any problems, I'll just take the video down.

You're on the clear with TGM and Arika.. but the default installation uses sound from Zelda.

Which Zelda game?

A Link to the Past.. I'm thinking about the IRS sound, but there might be more copyrighted material in the default installation of Heboris.

Removed all my videos for the sake of Heboris.

How would one go about inserting Free audio into a Heboris UE installation and making a patch against a given version of Heboris UE?

/se

/blockse

/bgm

and the correct name for each file.

To patch, don't you just edit the resource files?

Yeah, you just overwrite the existing files.

FYI tepples UE includes free audio (except for a Zelda sample, apparently?), and this copyright infringement is happening with custom mods from end users.

i bet you could come up with some interesting sound effects. that's a less explored area of tetris customization. search: sound effects wav. there's free ones all over the place. i don't know of any good free sound editting programs, though.

Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/default.htm) has served me well.

Update: I discovered the blockse, se, and voice folder capability while looking at loadWaves in script/gamestart.c.

So here's the Lockjaw sound effects pack for Heboris UE Lite (http://pinocchio.jk0.org/lj/LJ_sounds_for_Heboris.7z). Even if you just use the blockse folder (tetromino entry sounds, which are missing from stock Heboris UE Lite), it's an improvement.
