I noticed that when I start of with a Z or S block and get to the bottom of the platform, so long as I keep rotating, it can crawl from left to right or right to left, depending on the block... in which square of the four in a shape does it rotate on?

The rotation system used by Tetris Worlds, Tetris DS, and most other Tetris brand games since 2002, is Super Rotation System, or SRS (http://www.tetrisconcept.net/forum/../wiki/index.php/SRS). Tetrominoes in freefall rotate about the center of the smallest square that contains the tetromino. But when the tetromino lands, rotation usually overlaps the floor, and the game tries four nudges, or "kicks," depending on which tetromino is out and which way it is pointed. Jagorochi has analyzed the kicks of SRS in detail (http://www.the-shell.net/img/srs_study.html).

Some useful moves are compiled on the wiki: [[Twist (http://www.tetrisconcept.net/forum/../wiki/index.php/Twist)]]

Google 'Tetris DS System Guide'.

I read one once which had a full explaination of TDS rotation
